We spent the early part of December with a bad cough so we didn't get out to see all of our usual Christmas light displays. We made it to The Grotto and Winter Gleam at Oaks Park. We also did the Sherwood light drive, which had quite a few fun light displays.

Jack Skellington was thrilling the crowd at Oaks Park.
One of the advertised light displays was the Christmas Vacation House out in Milwaukie. Not quite what I had in my mind, but it was definitely all about Christmas Vacation.
Christmas was low key this year. The girls are having a harder time finding toys that they really want so we are trying to guess what they might like. The result is a little less enthusiasm than normal. Instead of our annual Christmas day walk, we opted to do the Christmas Light Drive in Sherwood, taking us by all of the houses in town with the best decorations. Our favorite was called "Let It Snow" and they had a snow machine that covered their whole yard in bubbly snow. It was very festive!
We spent most of October and November with a bad cold so we didn't do our usual Halloween outings. We did have a few moments of fall fun, though. No trick or treating this year.

Rainbow!
Followed the rainbow home and caught this lovely shot of our yard.
Here are a few moments from the girls' 19th birthday party. They chose a pirate theme so we ended the day going to the opening night of Pirates of Pinehurst.
I love Disney's photo pass program. Getting really good quality, professional pictures of all the best spots in the two parks in which all of us are in the picture is priceless to me. Here are the best pics from 2024.

I cannot get enough of Jocelyn's face here, looking at me as I'm overacting.
