Halloween

Halloween 2014 was the first time we have attempted a family costume theme. Orange is the New Black is a popular TV series about life in a women's prison.  We put the girls in orange, which signifies that they are new to the prison.  I wore tan, which means I have been in for a while. Kurt was our friendly neighborhood prison guard.  It was fun to get into the spirit of the holiday and dress up for a change!

J&K in their annual pose (unfortunately blurry) at our front door.

The back of the shirts say D.O.C, which stands for Dept. of Corrections.

Jocelyn, Kurt and Kathryn outside the RMLS offices.  We popped in for a quick visit to show off our costumes.

This super festive house of ours got ZERO Trick or Treaters in 2014.

Red Headphones Halloween Party

Red Headphones for Autism had their annual Halloween party.  We donned our costumes and joined the fun for approximately 7 minutes.  We arrived, walked through their decorated offices and checked out the activities and the girls were ready to depart.  We wished we could have stayed longer to support this wonderful organization, but we try to respect the girls' choices.
