And we thought "elephant" was impressive....

I left Jocelyn downstairs, playing with her letters, to go dry my hair. At the time, she had spelled out "beach" but was removing the "ch" as I departed. When I came back down, this was on the board! I have no idea where she learned the word Beaverton but I am blown away by her brilliant spelling abilities.

February Snow Day!

It snowed a couple of inches this morning, but all melted before we were able to get outside and play. Luckily we had another small flurry this afternoon so the girls donned their coats and boots and we headed out.

Kate was thrilled to be out in the snow. She would have stayed out all day if she could have.

She was a little less enthusiastic than her sister after about 5 minutes outside.
Kate, on the other hand, was racing around the yard, making the most of the trace amount of snow.

The twins get launched!

Although we took both girls to Westfield Mall to use the bungee trampoline, we only got this photo to share. Still, you get the idea. They loved it despite the fact they they were not all that good at it.

Jocelyn spells "elephant"

I looked over to see Jocelyn spelling out a word on her magnetic board. She couldn't get it to fit just right, so she tries and tries again. This is her new favorite past time these days and she spells interesting words with surprising accuracy.

Kathryn can whistle

At some point, Kate taught herself how to whistle. Her favorite activity is coloring and now she has combined her new skill with her artistic talent.
