Easter Morning

Easter morning brought baskets with lots of treats and some fun and anticipated toys.

Easter Baskets.

Checking out the spread.

Jocelyn still loves to open eggs and line up their contents.

We took advantage of the good weather and hid some eggs in the front yard.

Jocie searching for an egg in the heather.

Kurt was the helpful basket holder for Jocie.

More eggs around the yard. Jocelyn liked finding the ones with toys inside.

Kathryn found one in the bushes.

It had some candy inside, which garnered this smile.

Egg Hunt for Acceptance

We have had spectacular weather this spring so our annual Easter Egg Hunt for Acceptance was outdoors and gorgeous. It is a huge event with lots to entertain the kids.

The Easter Bunny!

There was a huge pillow to play on and the girls couldn't decided whether to run and jump or lay down and rest. Kate is up and Joce is down in this shot.

Now Jocie is jumping and Kate is relaxing.

Jocie and her Easter basket with eggs and treats.

Checking out the starfish at the Aquarium's booth.
Rojo and Smokey were there for photos.  Jocie likes to get up in Rojo's face while Kate keeps a respectful distance from Smokey.

I can't express how much I love this llama's face.  Kate digs it, too.

Jocie giving some love to Rojo.

Therapy llamas are the best part of any event!

Zoo Lights

It is almost May and it occurs to me that I haven't posted our Zoo Lights pictures yet.  This year, we had train tickets. The Zoo Train hasn't been open for the last couple of years as they build the new elephant lands, but they opened it for the holiday season. It was a short ride and traveled through the construction zone, but the girls liked being on the train.

Me and Kate on the train.

Kathryn loved the light tunnel.
