We discovered this great light display at a house over in Beaverton. The girls loved all of the inflatables and the less busy atmosphere than many of our other outings.

Our trip to the Fantasy Trail was an adventure. It was a very foggy night so the drive was treacherous, but it was worth it. Jocelyn loved the snow machine this year and stood directly underneath it to get snowed upon. Kathryn preferred the bubble machine to the snow machine.

Covered in "snow."
We love this little house for a cute annual picture. This shows another behind the scenes moment.
We were invited to Drew's annual Christmas party again this year. He throws such a perfect family friendly event with Santa, llamas, good food and lots of fun.
This is one of my favorite Santa pics of the season. I am trying to get the girls into position and nothing is going the way I envisioned. Santa is laughing, Jocelyn is adoring him, Kathryn is trying desperately to sit on Santa's chair facing backwards and I'm dying of laughter.
Welp, we tried.
We missed the llama photographer but got our own picture with them.

Our first Christmas outing this year was to the Grotto. As always, the girls love the lights but the Christmas carolers and the puppet show are always the hit of the season.
Kathryn, Kurt and Jocelyn at the start of the lights, which was way brighter this year.

Jocelyn watched with a smile the whole time.
My cute family.
J&K together in the lights.
Couldn't decide which was a better picture so I settled on both.

In this little video, I was recording the girls' reactions to the puppet show. They are so tickled by the animal puppets, especially Charlie the Cat this year. The second part is Jocelyn actually singing along to Away In a Manger. You can't hear her but you can see her lips moving properly with the words. My favorite is the end, where she always says "sleeping" in heavenly peace.
