Hair Stylist In Training

Jocelyn loves scissors.  I posted a picture a while back showing a couple of strands of her hair that she chopped off. Ha ha - isn't that cute and funny? Little did I know that this dramatic haircut was just weeks away. She has become adept at conquering all of my childproof door locks.  This new skill combined with her ability to find the most dangerous item in any room spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E!  On Friday night, as we were cooking dinner, trouble came in the form of a really bad haircut.  She broke into my room, dug around in a small and hidden drawer, found the scissors and VIOLA! She cut the entire front portion of her hair all the way to the scalp.  While we are very pleased with her fine motor skills, her styling skills need some work!

From the front - see the nice triangle of baldness?

From the top - you can see the quality and quantity of the damage.

Still smiling - she was very pleased with herself!

The sum total of her missing locks.

She took a self portrait with my camera, unbeknownst to me until I uploaded the photos. Not the most flattering of poses but shows the true Bozo the Clown look she created.

This is Kookie at Little Clippers.  She tried her best to mitigate the damage.  Perhaps she will agree to mentor Jocie so her future haircuts have a little more style.

Jocie's new super short bob!  Looks like we have 3-6 months of grow-out time ahead.

Pretty darn cute from the side - thank heavens for Kookie and her skills.
