It was another unusual Christmas. After the Coronavirus derailed 2020, we thought all would be back to normal this year with our vaccines and booster shots in the rearview mirror. A few days before Christmas, mom ended up getting a severe case of strep throat so she and dad had to skip the festivities. Papa was able to join us for dinner, which was a big improvement over the lockdown of last year. We were able to do a second Christmas with my parents on New Year's Eve so the girls got to celebrate twice. We also had a few snow days in between Christmas and New Year's so it added to the holiday spirit. Not quite enough snow to attempt to sled, but still we got to wake up to a couple of white mornings during the week.
