Halloween
We took a monkey and a tiger to the annual Howloween at the Zoo. We encountered a huge downpour about 5 minutes before we arrived, so we took shelter in the Children's Museum until it passed. It was a perfect day to go to the zoo - halloween fun and it wasn't too crowded because of the earlier storm!

Walking into the zoo with Jocelyn (tiger) and Kathryn (monkey).
Kate refused to wear her monkey head most of the day, but we did manage to get a picture before she pulled it off.
Jocelyn, on the other hand, loved her Tigger costume and wore the hood all day. She doesn't really know who Tigger is, but she LOVES tigers and this was as close to a tiger costume as we could find!
Jocie walked around all day roaring and making tiger claws in the air.
She was exceptionally happy to see the elephants, too.
Plus, she had no fear of the giant lion statue because she could growl right back at him!
Snack time for the animals.
Kate sat happily and watched the underwater animals swim around. I love her monkey tummy in this picture.
Kate was looking up to see the sea lions swimming when we captured this photo.
Our little monkey got loose and ran like crazy through the zoo.
We met up with Grammy and Grampa at Davis Graveyard where Kate got a fun shoulder ride, even though she tried to pierce Grampa's ears with her fingernails.
Another attempt at a family photo, this time with the Davis Graveyard in the background.
Jocie was NOT afraid of any of the decorations.
Aunt Em offered Jocie a shoulder ride, but she mostly just like to look at Em's face.
Kurt and Kate having a laugh right before we left to trick or treat.
Daddy and his little animals on the way to trick or treat.
Waiting not so patiently at our neighbor's door.
