During the first weekend of February, we had a major snow event. It started snowing on Thursday and didn't stop over the whole weekend. We picked the girls up from school early on Thursday and didn't leave the house until Monday afternoon. We did manage to get outdoors to enjoy the snow. The girls loved it! Typically they don't like to wear hats or gloves, but they acquiesced on day one. After their first foray out into the snow, they refused to wear the little black kid sized gloves again.

| We wandered out into the front yard to walk in the fresh powder. It took us about 20 minutes to get ready to go outside and the girls lasted about 5 minutes in the snow before they were ready to go back inside. |
