The Twins First Flight

As we were driving through Seattle, we were watching the seaplanes zoom overhead and I commented to Kurt that I would love to take one of those tours someday.  As we talked about it, we realized that this might be the perfect first flight for the girls.  The tours are only 20 minutes and they take off and land in the water, which is one of the reasons we go to Seattle in the first place so we can get the girls out on the water.  Before we knew what was happening, reservations were made and the seaplane ride was a go.  The girls did so well.  The plane was small and cramped but our pilot was easygoing and let the girls do things their own way. As we were taking off, he kept the windows open so they could feel the wind and try to touch the water and he did the same after we landed.  Both girls looked very serious during the flight but then jabbered about it animatedly after we landed.  What a great experience for all of us!!
