Rascal Rodeo

Rascal Rodeo puts on special needs rodeos around the northwest.  We were lucky enough to join in this year.  They had lots of animals that we accessible to the kids, along with games and horseback riding.  Jocelyn loved every minute of the day.  Kathryn enjoyed the first part, but quickly realized that there was a carnival next door that had a big slide and she was ready to abandon the rodeo for the rides.  Luckily, the carnival owners opened the rides early and let all the participants enjoy the carnival for free!!  What a great day!

Jocelyn brushing a donkey.

Kathryn did some donkey brushing, too.

J&K by the Rascal Rodeo trucks.

Jocelyn riding a long horn steer.

Kathryn enjoyed the steer AND the cowboy.

Kathryn was a big fan of the kid's arena.

Jocelyn high fives a volunteer.

Jocelyn and Grampa waiting in line for horseback riding.

Riding horses with the awesome volunteers.

She's never been a big fan of helmets.
All the participants gathered for a picture, except Kathryn and me.  We were up in the stands watching.

The brought the long horns out as we were leaving.  Impressive!

We rode the big slide multiple times, much to Kathryn's excitement.
